ABOUT

ADVENTURE ATHLETE • RESEARCHER • SPEAKER

For twenty years, Paul has lived at the intersection of human performance, ancient wisdom, and personal transformation.

Externally, he built an impressive career: training Olympic athletes, prepping lead actors for films like Star Wars and Black Panther, pushing himself as an expedition athlete across remote terrain. But internally, he was struggling—carrying anxiety and depression he'd learned to hide beneath achievement and drive.

Everything changed when he stopped looking outward for answers.

He went to the mountains and jungles. He sought out extraordinary teachers and indigenous lineages. He underwent initiations, studied the Taoist path, and engaged deeply with altered-state practices—not as escape, but as genuine inquiry into how human beings get trapped in survival patterns.

Through this work, he discovered something that transformed him: the patterns running his life weren't character flaws or permanent conditions. They were old programming his nervous system had learned to keep him safe. Once he could see them clearly, they lost their grip.

That metamorphosis is why he teaches.

Not from theory, but from having walked the path himself. He brings together two decades of high-performance coaching, formal training in nervous system regulation, doctoral research on consciousness and healing, and direct experience with indigenous healing traditions.

His work integrates neurobiology, somatic practice, and ancient wisdom—grounded in the lived understanding that real transformation comes not from force, but from clear seeing.

He teaches this because he knows what's possible when someone stops running from themselves and starts choosing their life.

And he knows the path, because he walked it.

Seeking to understand the internal architecture of the "self" beyond Western performance metrics, Paul spent years living with and learning from indigenous communities.

He has been initiated into the traditions of the Huni Kuin (Brazil), the Wixárika (Mexico), and the Arhuaco (Colombia).

These experiences shifted his focus from the "optimization" of the body to the "regulation" of the soul, observing that health is not a battle to be won, but a state of belonging.

To provide a rigorous framework for these ancestral practices, Paul turned to doctoral research.

He is currently a PhD researcher in Psychedelic Therapy, specializing in the neurobiology of the "thaw"—the process by which the nervous system interrupts survival loops to allow for deep integration and presence.

Today, Paul acts as a bridge between ancient lineage and modern science.

His work is a synthesis of Active Inference and ritual, focused on helping world-shapers move beyond the "mind-movie" of achievement and into a state of direct reality.

"He guided me to insights that most who speak on the subject haven’t lived or understood."
